PROJECT SUMMARY
HAWAII AIR NATIONAL GUARD RENEWABLE ENERGY & HYDROGEN GENERATION, HONOLULU, HI
Project Scope
The utility service infrastructure was designed for a new hydrogen electrolysis and dispensing station. The hydrogen station will be used to provide hydrogen fuel to ground support vehicals at the airport. There will be two type of dispensing systems, the Ovonic Solid Storage System and an Avalence Hydrogen Dispensing System. The Avalance System also includes an electrolyzer that converts water to hydrogen. Photovoltaic modules will be used to offset the energy and power consumed by the system.
Engineering Serivces
WZ Engineering designed the AC and DC electrical systems to serve the refueling station. Detailed contract drawings and specification were provided. Site survey and coordination with military personnel was required.
